Henrik Schoenmakers hit a great ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Dolf Temmerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ùnico Tongeren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolf Temmerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, S52 Wonder Team's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Temmerman came free, but Roger De Worteler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robrecht Vrankx in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger De Worteler saved S52 Wonder Team from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Ùnico Tongeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem Lyens to maneuver through the defense. Ùnico Tongeren's Carel Van Kamp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ùnico Tongeren from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute of the match, Hans Bourgignon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carel Van Kamp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carel Van Kamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Bourgignon in the 27th minute of the match. Ùnico Tongeren's supporters rose to their feet, but Robrecht Vrankx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger De Worteler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Robrecht Vrankx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger De Worteler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Ùnico Tongeren were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Dolf Temmerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brend Gyselinx in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger De Worteler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carel Van Kamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Bourgignon in the 59th minute of play. Carel Van Kamp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Bourgignon's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 59 played minutes Ùnico Tongeren got a freekick which was hit by Willem Lyens. Gilian De Ruyter kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Roger De Worteler made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dolf Temmerman sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Ùnico Tongeren's Dolf Temmerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger De Worteler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guust Verheijd in the 82nd minute of play forced Ùnico Tongeren's goalkeeper Carel Van Kamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Roger De Worteler managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Ùnico Tongeren's Robrecht Vrankx fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brend Gyselinx received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roger De Worteler came out and tried to block the shot, but Brend Gyselinx slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 86th minute. Remie Grammet kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Roger De Worteler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Gyselinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of S52 Wonder Team booed when Ùnico Tongeren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolf Temmerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Bourgignon scored 2-2 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carel Van Kamp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Ùnico Tongeren failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
