Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hans Bourgignon started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in S52 Wonder Team's zone, Steven De Vadder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger De Worteler came out of the goal and Steven De Vadder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guust Verheijd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vincent Van hoegaerde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Hans Bourgignon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S52 Wonder Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Bourgignon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S52 Wonder Team's Roger De Worteler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesse Poortmans in the 10th minute of play. If Guust Verheijd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger De Worteler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven De Vadder in the 19th minute of play. If Hans Bourgignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joris Rockeloos during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joris Rockeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guust Verheijd got free with Vincent Van hoegaerde in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Bourgignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C's Bram De Cerpel got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C's goalkeeper Vincent Van hoegaerde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guust Verheijd. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven De Vadder in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger De Worteler saved S52 Wonder Team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C's Stanny Van Achteren got a free kick in the 44th minute. Guust Verheijd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Van hoegaerde having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Gilian De Ruyter had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Arsenal F.C's Joris Rockeloos got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Joris Rockeloos off the ground. Joris Rockeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesse Poortmans to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Koen Wijnants got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roger De Worteler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesse Poortmans in the 56th minute. Jesse Poortmanss short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Roger De Worteler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Koen Wijnants kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Jesse Poortmans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal F.C's goalkeeper Vincent Van hoegaerde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans Bourgignon might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Van hoegaerde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Bourgignon ran back to his position shaking his head. Jesse Poortmans in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger De Worteler, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vincent Van hoegaerde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guust Verheijd in the 73rd minute of play. Jesse Poortmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger De Worteler having to interfere. If Guust Verheijd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesse Poortmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Roger De Worteler made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Steven De Vadder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Steven De Vadder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger De Worteler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenal F.C's Koen Wijnants got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Jesse Poortmans got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Koen Wijnants came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Arsenal F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koen Wijnants couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesse Poortmans got free with Roger De Worteler in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guust Verheijd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Van hoegaerde having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Arsenal F.C failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
