Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julien Van Poucke kicked off to start the match. In the 9th play minute Luka Roockeloes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cederique Koninckx. 1-0. If Luka Roockeloes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cederique Koninckx made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Luka Roockeloes sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Julien Van Poucke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cederique Koninckx was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, return of the angels's goal looked a bit too open when Xander Hoeybroeck came free, but Mathieu-Maxim Stercks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julien Van Poucke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cederique Koninckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Xander Hoeybroeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hulsters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernand Bruynincx during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to return of the angels getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Fernand Bruynincx hit a great ball. Luka Roockeloes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th match minute, Hulsters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim De Maijer to maneuver through the defense. When Julien Van Poucke came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the return of the angels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julien Van Poucke couldn't finish the play. Cederique Koninckx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Roockeloes in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Hulsters got a freekick which was hit by Rene De Roeck. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Isebergh made a kick off. Mathieu-Maxim Stercks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Isebergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luka Roockeloes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cederique Koninckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Hulsters's goal looked a bit too open when Julien Van Poucke came free, but Cederique Koninckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hulsters's Cederique Koninckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Roockeloes in the 73rd minute of play. If Steven Isebergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Hulsters's Steven Isebergh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathieu-Maxim Stercks. That made the score 1-2 after 80 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Xander Hoeybroeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hulsters's supporters rose to their feet, but Xander Hoeybroeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathieu-Maxim Stercks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 minutes, Luka Roockeloes made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Hulsters's Cederique Koninckx tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
