The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Van Baerlem during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Michael Van Baerlem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Goffrey Maes managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Berendrecht's supporters rose to their feet, but Goffrey Maes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RSC Berendrecht's Anthonio Panhuijsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem Verheijden in the 9th minute of play. Anthonio Panhuijsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem Verheijden in the 10th minute of the match. Goffrey Maes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Goffrey Maes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RSC Berendrecht's Anthonio Panhuijsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem Verheijden in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Tobias Wiechgers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Berendrecht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fighters Against Cancer the free kick. Tobias Wiechgers hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The long shot by Mattheo Van Leemputt in the 27th minute really tested Anthonio Panhuijsen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kristiaan van Goetsenhoven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goffrey Maes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fighters Against Cancer's Willem Verheijden got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes RSC Berendrecht got a freekick which was hit by Goffrey Maes. Michael Van Baerlem hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sander De Tapp charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sander De Tapp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RSC Berendrecht getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sander De Tapp hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willem Verheijden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fighters Against Cancer's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Goffrey Maes 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Goffrey Maes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anthonio Panhuijsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Leemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toon Van Hove's late challenge caught a Fighters Against Cancer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toon Van Hove helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RSC Berendrecht! In the 84th minute Bertrand Leemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthonio Panhuijsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthonio Panhuijsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertrand Leemans in the 86th minute of the match. Anthonio Panhuijsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertrand Leemans in the 87th minute of play. Bertrand Leemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertrand Leemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anthonio Panhuijsen having to make a save. In the 96th minute Christofere Vandommele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthonio Panhuijsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthonio Panhuijsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem Verheijden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Wiechgers was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to RSC Berendrecht getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Tobias Wiechgers hit a great ball.
