The crowd rose to their feet as Patro Eisden Maasmechelen's Jacque Devaux slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bob Worteleers. That made the score 0-11 after 73 minutes of play. Dimitri Van Hooveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Worteleers having to interfere. Dimitri Van Hooveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. Dimitri Van Hooveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patro Eisden Maasmechelen's Dimitri Van Hooveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patro Eisden Maasmechelen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
