The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucien Scheerens made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Martial De Meesemaeckere sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Huppelende Begijntjes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter-Maarten De Weijgaert came free, but Sven Koninckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Bram De Vos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huppelende Begijntjes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martial De Meesemaeckere during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Sporting Mambo. Raf Van Gertsuyden stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sven Koninckx. 1-1. Lucien Scheerens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Clement in the 31st minute of play. Rik Delcroix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 89 minutes into the match, Huppelende Begijntjes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pieter-Maarten De Weijgaert came free, but Sven Koninckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Clement fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Scheerens having to interfere. Sporting Mambo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
