In the 9th match minute, U.T.A.-S.U.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Ioviță to maneuver through the defense. Mihail Aldulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Senin having to interfere. Teodor Cozmâncă struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Dragoş Senin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U.T.A.-S.U.R.. 15 minutes into the game, Teodor Cozmâncă lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Dragoş Senin. The supporters of U.T.A.-S.U.R. booed when Urtica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Gogea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Teodor Cozmâncă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucian Voinescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Păsărin in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sorin Păsărin during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of U.T.A.-S.U.R. booed when Urtica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Păsărin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihail Aldulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dragoş Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sorin Păsărin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Octav Nițu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U.T.A.-S.U.R. and the Urtica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Curuțiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Lucian Voinescu made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Mihail Aldulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Teodor Cozmâncă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragoş Senin was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s Mihail Aldulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Teodor Cozmâncă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a left leg Dragoş Senin saved Urtica from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Urtica's Cristian Curuțiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Voinescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to U.T.A.-S.U.R. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Filip Ioviță hit a great ball. There was no doubt that U.T.A.-S.U.R. were the better team. U.T.A.-S.U.R.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
