Cornel Gârneț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Octavian Davidescu made a huge save. Petru Musceleanu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Marcel Marica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Mag's Constantin Paraschiv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iosif Eftimescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Octav Cozac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mag's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Cozac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Eftimescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Constantin Paraschiv who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romanian Patriots's Iosif Eftimescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicu Ţiţeica kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Mag's Toader Aanicăi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosif Eftimescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mag reached it. The supporters of Mag booed when Romanian Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Musceleanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Paraschiv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Nicu Ţiţeica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Eftimescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantin Paraschiv in the 37th minute of the match. If Constantin Paraschiv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, Mag's Constantin Paraschiv made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iosif Eftimescu was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Săndulescu was the one to do the kick off. Constantin Paraschiv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Cozac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Eftimescu having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Constantin Paraschiv recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iosif Eftimescu. Constantin Paraschiv showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 63rd minute, Constantin Paraschiv reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iosif Eftimescu. The goal made the score 0-4. If Constantin Paraschiv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Romanian Patriots's zone, Octav Cozac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Eftimescu came out of the goal and Octav Cozac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iosif Eftimescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Paraschiv in the 74th minute of play. If Constantin Paraschiv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Constantin Paraschiv came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Mag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Paraschiv couldn't finish the play. Constantin Paraschiv in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iosif Eftimescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iosif Eftimescu made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Octav Cozac sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Mag left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Romanian Patriots.
