In the 29th minute Marin Cluceru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Musceleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Sasu made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Emilian Buhăescu sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 38 minutes, Marin Cluceru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Setu AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Cluceru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Constantiniu in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petru Musceleanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Emilian Negură got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Dinu Sasu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
