The crowd rose to their feet as Kalamos FC's Hong De Cheng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexis Rizlas. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. In the 19th match minute, Kalamos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Kaan Irmak to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Thomas Tzirakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexis Rizlas. The goal made the score 4-0. A collision led to Kalamos FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Renos Kouzoulakis hit a great ball. If Iosif Sfaliaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Tzirakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexis Rizlas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Tzirakis ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Kalamos FC's Hong De Cheng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexis Rizlas. That made the score 5-0 after 39 minutes of play. Kalamos FC's Thomas Tzirakis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hong De Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Tzirakis got free with Alexis Rizlas in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Kalamos FC's Esbjörn Kielstedt got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 60 minutes, Diogenis Skopelitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larisa FC and the Kalamos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Larisa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogenis Skopelitis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 61 minutes, Hong De Cheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalamos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hong De Cheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexis Rizlas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kalamos FC's Ibai Gomez was substituted for Alkaios Prichtis. Kalamos FC's attentive Ali Kaan Irmak managed to snatch the ball when Diogenis Skopelitis made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Ntinos Meletoglou hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Alexis Rizlas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hong De Cheng in the 74th minute of the match. Larisa FC's Alexis Rizlas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf-Inge Haaland in the 78th minute of play. Kalamos FC's attentive Ali Kaan Irmak managed to snatch the ball when Diogenis Skopelitis made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Esbjörn Kielstedt's late challenge caught a Larisa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Kielstedt helped the player get up and apologised. Esbjörn Kielstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kalamos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
