Spectators: 7772 (Terracing: 5830, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jouni Lehtilä kicked off to start the match. The supporters of West Coast Fc booed when Östrabyugo IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jussi Vuorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, Östrabyugo IFK's Iikka Valkama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timo Jantunen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Östrabyugo IFK reached it. The audience was convinced that Voitto Toivanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timo Jantunen was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 7 played minutes West Coast Fc got a freekick which was hit by Veijo Niemi. If Jussi Vuorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. In the 17th minute, Jussi Vuorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Östrabyugo IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Timo Jantunen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Voitto Toivanen went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A well-hit corner resulted in Ismo Helavuori heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Timo Jantunen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jussi Vuorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Voitto Toivanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Jantunen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Jantunen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jussi Vuorio in the 35th minute of the match. West Coast Fc's Timo Jantunen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Voitto Toivanen in the 46th minute of play. Östrabyugo IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antero Ollonen in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Voitto Toivanen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Urpo Normio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Coast Fc and the Östrabyugo IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, West Coast Fc's Urpo Normio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Östrabyugo IFK's Jussi Vuorio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timo Jantunen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Otso Snellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timo Jantunen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Östrabyugo IFK's Jussi Vuorio got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, West Coast Fc's Sulho Peltola got a free kick in the 77th minute. Voitto Toivanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jussi Vuorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östrabyugo IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jussi Vuorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timo Jantunen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, West Coast Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urpo Normio to maneuver through the defense. Östrabyugo IFK's Voitto Toivanen got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, West Coast Fc's goalkeeper Timo Jantunen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jussi Vuorio. The West Coast Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Östrabyugo IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
