Spectators: 7685 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 185) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Honorio Vergas started the match with the kick off. Omar Geneix came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by OMONOIA's Ivón Echavarri. But to his dismay, Ivón Echavarri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Priamos Calogerakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dhafnotí's Omar Geneix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Vergas in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Honorio Vergas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dhafnotí were furious when Themis Giannopoulos was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 12th minute, one of Dhafnotí:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dhafnotí. Omar Geneix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivón Echavarri's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Dhafnotí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Theohari to maneuver through the defense. Omar Geneix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivón Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Inakhos Petropoulos notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dhafnotí's Omar Geneix. Omar Geneix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorio Vergas might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Geneix. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Vergas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute, Nemesio Otsoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inakhos Petropoulos took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Geneix. Omar Geneix dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 30th minute Ivón Echavarri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Geneix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Geneix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Vergas in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Nemesio Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Geneix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonidas Rorris hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Omar Geneix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Vergas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leonidas Rorris made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dhafnotí's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Otsoa came free, but Omar Geneix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, OMONOIA's Ivón Echavarri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Omar Geneix. Omar Geneix yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 60th match minute, OMONOIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Otsoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Leonidas Rorris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koios Panayiotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the OMONOIA defense, Leonidas Rorris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Koios Panayiotopoulos. The OMONOIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Koios Panayiotopoulos should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the game, Seleykos Rachiotis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhafnotí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave OMONOIA the free kick. In the 65th minute, Seleykos Rachiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OMONOIA's Chico de Almeida was substituted for Napoleon Kiewra. Omar Geneix was a little too slow when Ivón Echavarri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-6. The supporters of Dhafnotí booed when OMONOIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Babicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. OMONOIA's Kapaneus Solomos was substituted for Inakhos Petropoulos. After a rather tough play, OMONOIA's Robert Babicki got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Kapaneus Solomos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Geneix was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Honorio Vergas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Geneix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Koios Panayiotopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonidas Rorris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of OMONOIA booed when Dhafnotí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Geneix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kapaneus Solomos went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, OMONOIA's Omar Geneix threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorio Vergas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Omar Geneix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Vergas went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-9 was the resulting score. OMONOIA played a much better game than Dhafnotí and deserved their victory. The Dhafnotí players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
