To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Faruk Kabadayı's late challenge caught a PeSiMisT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Faruk Kabadayı helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Edirne getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ali Faruk Kabadayı hit a great ball. In the 20th match minute, PeSiMisT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahir İzhan to maneuver through the defense. Coşkun Tunçkılıç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Kılıçalp Aygüneş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Ulaş Dilhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıçalp Aygüneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kılıçalp Aygüneş came out of the goal and Tuncay Başhekim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tuncay Başhekim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kılıçalp Aygüneş having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Sancar Saykut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PeSiMisT and the Edirne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sancar Saykut kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ulaş Dilhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Edirne booed when PeSiMisT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahir İzhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Coşkun Tunçkılıç the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulaş Dilhan scored 2-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kılıçalp Aygüneş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
