When Kutlu Hekimhanlı came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Oyak JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kutlu Hekimhanlı couldn't finish the play. If Tuncay Başhekim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Coşkun Tunçkılıç came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Edirne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coşkun Tunçkılıç couldn't finish the play. Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coşkun Tunçkılıç, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With an all-out effort, Edirne's Arif Memduh Tosunoğlu threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Coşkun Tunçkılıç, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kutlu Hekimhanlı's late challenge caught a Edirne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
