Corlu FK's Rainerio Olavarrieta got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferhat Arabacıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevdet Sonay in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Serik's Abdulaziz Uruk got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute, Cevdet Sonay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ferhat Arabacıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevdet Sonay in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Cevdet Sonay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Serik's goal looked a bit too open when Rainerio Olavarrieta came free, but Selahaddin Yumlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahit Pozan in the 41st minute of play forced Corlu FK's goalkeeper Ferhat Arabacıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferhat Arabacıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahit Pozan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Corlu FK's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm Buyruk came free, but Ferhat Arabacıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vahit Pozan sped through Corlu FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferhat Arabacıoğlu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute Cevdet Sonay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Arabacıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Cevdet Sonay tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferhat Arabacıoğlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Serik's Selahaddin Yumlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainerio Olavarrieta in the 93rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vahit Pozan got free with Ferhat Arabacıoğlu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
