After a rather tough play, SIKKIM AFC's Rajeshkumar Lalthangsanga got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 played minutes Taverham FC got a freekick which was hit by Budhana Verma. The corner led to SIKKIM AFC's Rajeshkumar Lalthangsanga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a little luck, Taverham FC's Anhu Sawhney got control of the ball when Amritaksara Sodhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amritaksara Sodhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Anhu Sawhney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alobhin Solanki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anhu Sawhney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alobhin Solanki, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Amritaksara Sodhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes SIKKIM AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darsanapala Vishwakarma. 31 minutes into the match, Bhaumiratna Sagoo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Canduri Nijjar. SIKKIM AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bhaumiratna Sagoo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, SIKKIM AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bhaumiratna Sagoo came free, but Canduri Nijjar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amritaksara Sodhi scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anhu Sawhney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rajeshkumar Lalthangsanga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Janapati Deol made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alobhin Solanki in the 52nd minute of play forced Taverham FC's goalkeeper Anhu Sawhney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amritaksara Sodhi scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anhu Sawhney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alobhin Solanki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SIKKIM AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anuvrata Sangha in the 71st minute. After 71 played minutes Taverham FC got a freekick which was hit by Shashi Bawa. Anhu Sawhney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alobhin Solanki, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Alobhin Solanki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taverham FC's Anhu Sawhney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anhu Sawhney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amritaksara Sodhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rajeshkumar Lalthangsanga kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Alobhin Solanki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anhu Sawhney was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taverham FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SIKKIM AFC.
