Spectators: 7690 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mai Thi Ngoc started the match with the kick off. Triệu Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Nguyễn Tuyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vũ Ho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Thi Ngoc, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Hồ Tuyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mai Thi Ngoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vũ Ho having to interfere. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PADFC! Nguyễn Thuyet shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Lê Hanh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th match minute, Mong Cai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đinh Anh Hung to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Triệu Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot. PADFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Triệu Hung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Tuyet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hồ Tuyet struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Vũ Ho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mong Cai. After having played for 31 minutes, Đinh Anh Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mong Cai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Đinh Anh Hung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hồ Tuyet in the 32nd minute of play forced PADFC's goalkeeper Vũ Ho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, PADFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Thi Ngoc came free, but Vũ Ho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Thanh during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, Lê Hanh notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mong Cai's Nguyễn Tuyet. Nguyễn Tuyet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hồ Tuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vũ Ho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trần Xuan's late challenge caught a Mong Cai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trần Xuan helped the player get up and apologised. Trần Xuan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Hồ Tuyet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Triệu Hung to strike the kick off in the second half. Hồ Tuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vũ Ho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Thuyet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Vũ Ho made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Hồ Tuyet sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mong Cai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Nguyễn Thanh was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 72nd minute, Nguyễn Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mong Cai getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mai Thi Ngoc hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Triệu Hung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PADFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Vũ Ho made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Hồ Tuyet sent off a good shot on target. Hồ Tuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vũ Ho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PADFC's Vũ Ho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save PADFC from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Nguyễn Thien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vũ Ho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Tuyet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Hanh, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Lê Hanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Nguyễn Tuyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PADFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Mong Cai for much of the match.
