Franko Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Bartzokas in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Thodoris Tassoulis came free, but Franko Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Luis Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes, Greece's Errikos Tsirigopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franko Armani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Greece reached it. In the 21st minute, Argentina's Benedicto Naelio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iason Kazantzidis. Iason Kazantzidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Bartzokas in the 27th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Franko Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 30th minute of play forced Greece's goalkeeper Iason Kazantzidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edelmiro Perpinya in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veniamin Tziortzopoulos in the 34th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Franko Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Iason Kazantzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Argentina's Benedicto Naelio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Luis Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Greece booed when Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thodoris Tassoulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Franko Armani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thodoris Tassoulis in the 61st minute. Panos Vakaloglou went to the cornerflag to take it. Lisandro Iraunkor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iason Kazantzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Iraunkor in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Argentina got a freekick which was hit by Luis Bemabe. For all the effort they put into the match, the Greece players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Argentina.
