Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) A hard shot 4 in the game by 김 영 from a close distance when the talented Vélaugur Óskarsson managed to make a qualified save. U21 Iceland's players were relieved. U21 Iceland's Vélaugur Óskarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Iceland from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the game, Saul Goodman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 South Korea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Iceland the free kick. U21 South Korea's 김 담 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Þorbjörn Hásteinsson in the 7th minute of play. 김 영 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 12 minutes, 김 견 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 South Korea's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 견 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 김 담 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sófónías Dagsson in the 20th minute of the match. When 김 영 came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the U21 South Korea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 김 영 couldn't finish the play. After having played for 25 minutes, Saul Goodman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 South Korea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Goodman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vélaugur Óskarsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 영's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 김 담 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sófónías Dagsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Þorbjörn Hásteinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-0 when 김 영 sped through U21 Iceland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vélaugur Óskarsson. In the 39th minute, 김 견 made a precise shot to the right of Vélaugur Óskarsson. U21 Iceland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After having played for 44 minutes, 김 영 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 South Korea's supporters crossed their fingers, but 김 영 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Sófónías Dagsson made the kick off in the second half. 김 영 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vélaugur Óskarsson having to interfere. Vélaugur Óskarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 김 견, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 조 내 kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Þorbjörn Hásteinsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but 김 담 made a huge save. 김 담 made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Þorbjörn Hásteinsson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to U21 Iceland getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ingiþór Boðason hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that 김 영's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vélaugur Óskarsson was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. After 73 minutes, 김 영 made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Iceland's Vélaugur Óskarsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 5-1 when 김 영 sped through U21 Iceland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vélaugur Óskarsson. In the 80th minute D-Anna Ice-Cream Guobadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 담 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 김 담 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vorm Gabríelsson in the 81st minute. In the 87thth minute of the game 김 영 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Iceland's Vélaugur Óskarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that 김 영's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vélaugur Óskarsson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, U21 South Korea's Goodness I got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Iceland players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 South Korea.
