Luiz Guilherme Simão came out and tried to block the shot, but Eyvar Janusson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marco Mendes hit a great ball. A collision led to U21 Iceland getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fenrir Ragnarsson hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Carioca to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Adelino Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 45th minute, Jóakim Hálfdánsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Guilherme Simão. The goal made the score 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Geirharður Teitsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Guilherme Simão. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 54th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Neto to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute Sigbergur Finnbogason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eyvar Janusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Adríel Traustason came free, but Luiz Guilherme Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauã Neto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. Luiz Guilherme Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jóakim Hálfdánsson in the 69th minute of the match. Sigbergur Finnbogason hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Luan Gaspar hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, U21 Iceland's Jóakim Hálfdánsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Guilherme Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Luiz Guilherme Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bersi Aðalsteinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by Luan Gaspar. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Luiz Guilherme Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jóakim Hálfdánsson in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by João Augusto Tróia. In the 82nd minute of the match Axel Unnarsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Guilherme Simão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Bersi Aðalsteinsson came free, but Luiz Guilherme Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the DIPLOMATA FC PAB defense, Jóakim Hálfdánsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Guilherme Simão. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Guilherme Simão should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U21 Iceland had played much better football throughout.
