In the 17thth minute of the game Okoyomon Charles Pinazas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Country's Albert Boutabout was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Okoyomon Charles Pinazas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, MZ Country's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Bartlett came free, but Albert Boutabout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind South Africa's goalkeeper Themba Takane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Bartlett got free with Albert Boutabout in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to South Africa getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Simamane Mandla hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes, MZ Country's Ali Makkeb shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Themba Takane came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MZ Country reached it. Albert Boutabout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okoyomon Charles Pinazas in the 35th minute of play. South Africa's Okoyomon Charles Pinazas saw an opening behind the goalie Albert Boutabout in the 35thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Albert Boutabout with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. 36 minutes into the match, Smail Chaouchi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of South Africa's Themba Takane. Themba Takane was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When MZ Country's Smail Chaouchi in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. MZ Country's Albert Boutabout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fuzile Mnisi in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MZ Country's Cherif Djebar got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Phillip Mangope fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Africa's protests and gave Phillip Mangope a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes South Africa got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Mangope. 60 minutes into the match, MZ Country's goal looked a bit too open when Okoyomon Charles Pinazas came free, but Albert Boutabout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Boutabout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuzile Mnisi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Boutabout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fuzile Mnisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Themba Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Smail Chaouchi in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match, Smail Chaouchi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Themba Takane was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Smail Chaouchi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Themba Takane came out and tried to block the shot, but Smail Chaouchi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the match, South Africa's goalkeeper Themba Takane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cherif Djebar. Albert Boutabout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Bartlett in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MZ Country's Lazhar Liegeon got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the South Africa defense, Nassim Horr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Themba Takane. The South Africa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Themba Takane should have stopped the shot. Chants of MZ Country echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as South Africa had held the ball for most of the match.
