Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mark Chian got the match started through his kick off. Mark Chian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steve Yarman having to make a save. Steve Yarman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mark Chian in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Malaysia's goalkeeper Steve Yarman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Chian. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mark Chian sped through Malaysia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Steve Yarman. Mark Chian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The throw-in from Jojo Mainaky in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Singapore's Daniz Tioe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Lee in the 20th minute of play forced Malaysia's goalkeeper Steve Yarman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Singapore's goal looked a bit too open when Budi Sinuhaji came free, but Wong Devan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
