Despite this Haji Sarap quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 92 played minutes Singapore got a freekick which was hit by Khai Chuan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Coky Sugandi got free with Shah Braddell in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Khai Chuan got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adam Seng. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Indonesia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
