An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander-James von der Schulenburg in the 25th minute of play forced EL ESFUERZO FC's goalkeeper Platon Alanis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Simon Etxepare dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergio Papo, 2-0. EL ESFUERZO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrisito the free kick. A collision led to EL ESFUERZO FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Leonides Ellande hit a great ball. In the 47th match minute, EL ESFUERZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Etxepare to make the kick off. Leonides Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Papo having to interfere. Simon Etxepare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sergio Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Etxepare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carrisito's Sergio Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Bras in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of EL ESFUERZO FC booed when Carrisito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Romo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Omar Gaitano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carrisito protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Omar Gaitano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Sergio Papo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Bras went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Platon Alanis made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ernesto Romo sent off a good shot on target. After 83 played minutes Carrisito got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Sal. After 85 minutes, Andres Abeita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrisito and the EL ESFUERZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, David Senin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Carrisito's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Etxepare came free, but Sergio Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Carrisito's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Martxel came free, but Sergio Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. EL ESFUERZO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
