After 2 played minutes 1.SSV Heimelf got a freekick which was hit by Wim Kammergruber. In the 3rd minute of the match Rickey Poissonnier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommaso Hörnes skillfully saved the ball. David Fürst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Tommaso Hörnes made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Süd Dunum's Tommaso Hörnes threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lajos Menke, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helmut Schindler during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Addo Paetz fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Tommaso Hörnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Furtok, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benno Rehm in the 18th minute of play forced Süd Dunum's goalkeeper Joachim Heinemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanislaw Olender kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Wojciech Furtok who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1.SSV Heimelf's Tommaso Hörnes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommaso Hörnes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wojciech Furtok's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Hartmut Sill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Joachim Heinemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benno Rehm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wojciech Furtok got free with Tommaso Hörnes in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joachim Heinemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hartmut Sill, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Addo Paetz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

In the 59th minute of the match, Benno Rehm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joachim Heinemann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Engelbert Beckmeyer kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Tommaso Hörnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wojciech Furtok in the 65th minute of the match. 1.SSV Heimelf's Tommaso Hörnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Furtok in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Wojciech Furtok ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommaso Hörnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Cristian Silvasan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommaso Hörnes was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Dominik Abend made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1.SSV Heimelf's Engelbert Beckmeyer. Tommaso Hörnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Silvasan in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Süd Dunum booed when 1.SSV Heimelf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabien Rombach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Silvasan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 1.SSV Heimelf's Tommaso Hörnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Silvasan in the 95th minute of play. Süd Dunum walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
