Hartmut Sill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Willi Scheunemann made a huge save. A hard shot by Josef Hinz from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Willi Scheunemann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Benno Rehm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Gerdes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Björn Riester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Willi Scheunemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Riester in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willi Scheunemann saved Bloh FC from getting behind. 56 minutes into the game, 1.SSV Heimelf's Hartmut Sill nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willi Scheunemann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Hippmann got free with Tommaso Hörnes in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bloh FC's Willi Scheunemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartmut Sill in the 80th minute of play. Tommaso Hörnes was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Christer Gerdes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christer Gerdes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 88 played minutes, 1.SSV Heimelf's Josef Hinz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Willi Scheunemann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1.SSV Heimelf reached it. The audience was convinced that Björn Riester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willi Scheunemann was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 94th minute of the match Josef Hinz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willi Scheunemann skillfully saved the ball. 1.SSV Heimelf made a substitution. Helmut Schindler replaced Matthias W Rauche. Lars Tauer hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 1.SSV Heimelf had played much better football throughout.
