Ronnie McCrimmor ran back to his position shaking his head. Ronnie McCrimmor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Säyid Abdasov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. U21 Azerbaijan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Gordon Kenneth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Säyid Abdasov was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Aqil Mövsümov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
