Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gheorghe Blajin kicked off to start the match. U21 Moldova's Victor Josan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Moldova from getting a goal against them. U21 Moldova's Victor Josan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Popowicz in the 7th minute of play. If Leon Przybylo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Josan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Przybylo in the 10th minute. With a little luck, U21 Moldova's Victor Josan got control of the ball when Leon Przybylo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Josan made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Leon Przybylo sent off a good shot on target. Leon Przybylo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. With a little luck, U21 Moldova's Victor Josan got control of the ball when Leon Przybylo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victor Josan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Gorgoń in the 22nd minute of play. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Blajin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Wawrzyniec Dejo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Poland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Moldova the free kick. Wawrzyniec Dejo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Victor Josan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Przybylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Denis Lazãr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Josan was a little too slow when Leon Przybylo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Lazãr in the 40th minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Przybylo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Josan saved U21 Moldova from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Cheptene during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, George Cheptene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wawrzyniec Dejo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Leon Przybylo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Josan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when U21 Moldova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Prutean didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Cheptene made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Poland's Damazy Kosakowski. Józef Mlynarczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Lazãr in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Leon Przybylo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Josan was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. U21 Poland's Teofil Gorzkiewicz was substituted for Leon Przybylo. After having played for 74 minutes, Marek Popowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Popowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. U21 Poland's Józef Mlynarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Vacarciuc in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Denis Lazãr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofil Gorzkiewicz scored 6-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Josan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Moldova's Grigore Vacarciuc was substituted for Gheorghe Blajin. U21 Moldova's Octavian Eremciuc was substituted for Daniel Isai. Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Prutean, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. U21 Poland made a substitution. Paolo-César Maldini replaced Jerzy Gorgoń. The throw-in from Marin Lipets in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Marek Popowicz. After 95 minutes of play, U21 Poland's Teofil Gorzkiewicz made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Josan was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 Moldova's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
