Steven Haylock showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Haylock in the 11th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Fethi Tanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sebastian Woodhall hit a great ball. Fethi Tanto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ozzy Billing in the 14th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Lee McMahon sped through Italy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fethi Tanto. Fethi Tanto made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ozzy Billing sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Haylock came free, but Fethi Tanto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Bradfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Allegretti in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Italy got a corner. England's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro Ferrara ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Haylock in the 27th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Fethi Tanto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Rory Rusk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Fethi Tanto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Camillo Giannico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jack Bradfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. England's Jack Bradfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Giannico in the 38th minute of play. Jack Bradfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Allegretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Italy's Fethi Tanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lee McMahon in the 43rd minute of play. Fethi Tanto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee McMahon in the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Italy's Fethi Tanto got control of the ball when Steven Haylock tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Italy's Fethi Tanto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Billing in the 51st minute of play. If Ozzy Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game Rory Rusk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Fethi Tanto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Hernán Crespo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Bradfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. England's Thom Monk was substituted for Ozzy Billing. With a little luck, England's Jack Bradfield got control of the ball when Camillo Giannico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rory Rusk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steven Haylock in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fethi Tanto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fethi Tanto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Haylock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rory Rusk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fethi Tanto having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Thom Monk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The England fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience was convinced that Rory Rusk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fethi Tanto was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Ferrara to maneuver through the defense. England walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
