In the 40thth minute of the game Peruxu Cardeño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 El Salvador's Christian García was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Peruxu Cardeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. U21 El Salvador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerry Mina in the 45th minute.

U21 El Salvador's Diego Campos was substituted for Jerry Mina. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peruxu Cardeño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to U21 Venezuela getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Romelio Espinola hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galo Caracedo got free with Christian García in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian García made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galo Caracedo in the 80th minute. With a little luck, U21 El Salvador's Christian García got control of the ball when Galo Caracedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes U21 El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Salvador. After 94 played minutes U21 Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Osoitz Carmenata. Daniel Alas kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
