Balotelli legend or bonkers?

As a neutral I do think he is one of the best players for all the wrong reasons off the pitch. I mean the second yellow on Sunday he should have been sent off before the 88th minute for his two footed challenge earlier in the match. What do you make of him now and do you think Mancini would ever trust him in the sky blue ever again?. I personally he shouldn't put him in the first team until he has cleaned up his act unfortunately he isn't going to change for the better.As a neutral I do think he is one of the best players for all the wrong reasons off the pitch. The path of "Berserker forward" has been mapped out by the likes of Stoichkov, Edmundo and Asprilla... I don't think the here and now is so different that he couldn't have a pretty high career, like them, while remaining somewhat unhinged. Except perhaps with the Italian national team. I think Mancini will probably stick with him but if the former leaves the club, the latter will soon follow. He's certainly nowhere near a legend for his playing skills, and for those familiar with the trio I named earlier and other such types, his antics are nothing new. He's a type of entertaining but I doubt there's any football fan out there who can say anything positive about the horrific "tackles" he hands out too often to be innocent accidents.The path of "Berserker forward" has been mapped out by the likes of Stoichkov, Edmundo and Asprilla... he has moments of genius, but then so did paul gascgoine, he can have magic at his feet, but it is what is going on in his head where the problem lies, there was a point when he had started to play so well as to not be left out, but it would seem that he is always going to let you down, it would seem that his days at city are over, alan hansen has been saying for weeks that he is the weak link, this seems to have turned out to be very true, but he is not the only reason for citys decline..he has moments of genius, but then so did paul gascgoine, he can have magic at his feet, but it is what is going on in his head where the problem lies, there was a point when he had started to play so well as to not be left out, but it would seem that he is always going to let you down, it would seem that his days at city are over, alan hansen has been saying for weeks that he is the weak link, this seems to have turned out to be very true, but he is not the only reason for citys decline..

Balotelli has loads of natural talent, but how does Mancini not start Dzeko in a must-win type of game like this? Edin has the same number of goals as Balotelli, more assists, and he's much less likely to do something crazy. Plus, he's a great target in the box for Milner, Nasri, etc. That said, I think Balotelli will be really fun to watch if he matures and refines his skills a bit.Balotelli has loads of natural talent, but how does Mancini not start Dzeko in a must-win type of game like this? I don't know if the landscape changed much lately so arrogance becomes a particular hindrance... I think arrogance is important in sports. Michael Jordan is incredibly arrogant; most athletes who expect to win championships have to be arrogant. I think as a player he was, his manner on the pitch. But anyway, to clarify, I don't intend it as necessarily a negative.
