Wing play is too imba!

Don't know if anybody has mentioned this, but I've really come to realize that the wing tactic is just way too powerful. The players on the wing keep roasting full-backs everytime they receive the ball, and it can draw like 3-4 defenders to him when he runs down the line (although that may be in part to Play Intelligence). My recent friendly had this happening all the time (though I won 2-0), and my last League game too (I was spared a humiliating loss thanks to a good keeper). My concern is that the other tactics seem to become less effective against a team that uses the wing tactics. I use short passing, but against "wing teams" my passing becomes super erratic and the players lose possession a lot, both when passing, receiving and dribbling, unlike opponents who seem to require 10 in tackling to get the ball of them. I'd just like to see some balance in the tactics. Seems like more and more people are using wing tactics just because there is a slight advantage to it (although I ditched it because finishing seemed more horrible, though given my League plight, that problem hasn't been solved). I'd like to see short passing become a little more good as well (although not like the recent pinball thing), or long passing... actually I don't see this being used much. I don't know if anybody noticed this, but it seems that for teams that play with Short Passing, in the first play after half time they will just keep passing the ball among the defense until the opponent manages to steal the ball and fire away a shot (none of which have ever resulted in a goal for me). It keeps happening more and more now. WIth this new sim we're using now, wing play has sadly gone down the drains. It's a pity, I loved that style of play. :(WIth this new sim we're using now, wing play has sadly gone down the drains. It's a pity, I loved that style of play. :(

Hahaha yeah it seems so. The different styles are just not balanced with each other yet. Need to find how to make it so that the different tactics can still be balanced with each other through smart tactical decisions. Something else I found that is irritating with the current sim. I'm playing with Short Passing, but for some reason my midfielders keep trying to play long balls up to my strikers. It's really baffling, and especially since I'm training their Passing mostly for them and they have lousy Aerial Passing, so it really goes wrong for me there.Hahaha yeah it seems so. i dont think wing play is that imba now... at the start of the season it was very bad but now they have fix some things in the way ... and for the people who thinks wings tactics arent good, they should wonder if their players attributes are good enough for selecting wing play (aka decent cross ball in midfieldiers and defenders, a heading striker, two strongs wings, for example) good lucki dont think wing play is that imba now... at the start of the season it was very bad but now they have fix some things in the way ...

titaan i agree, it was repaired a bit but what i find disturbing is why a winger has to have a cross ball high, and only cross to midlle SC.
