One of two possibilities: (1) my headphones broke, or (2) I've gone deaf in my left ear. I hope it's not the headphones!
OR
It's one of two possibilities; either my headphones have broken or I've gone deaf in my left ear... I hope it's not the headphones.
These are the two ways I'd probably write it. Here is some notation: Using the "!" or not, to me means saying it in an upbeat humorous way. Not using the "!" makes it more deadpan/straight-faced, but still funny. Using "..." indicates like a moment of consideration, before the concluding thought of "hope it's not the headphones".
I wouldn't consider either of my answers exactly perfect if this is for like an English coursework or exam or something.
