This is stupid my strikers can not not finish anything not even a one on one.
in my last game my strikers had 4 one on one with the keeper chances, they just dribble the ball into his hands or get close to goal turn to another striker and pass.. my striker stats are:
10 shooting 8 speed 8 BC 6 stamina
9 Shooting 8 speed 7BC 6 stamina
10 shooting 8 speed 6BC 6 stamina
my keeper is a 10 ball keeper he is good until he lets in the stupid goals by humbling or just standing still...
the sim needs more work i think..

I think everyone has the same problem regardless the tactic, positions of forwards and/or player attributes yet some people say to "adjust to the new sim and to stop complaining".........right......

the new sim do not use the players skills... i put my goalkeeper on the offense and my best attancking goalkeeping and it is almost the same. A player with 2 balls on passes can make passes as good as one with 7 balls there... no sence of the hole game...

I agree killer catt. I might be starting to accept the ping pong passing, but the shooting at goal is hard to take. In reality, when it is a one on one you would expect the forward to score 9 times out of 10. But in this sim the forward misses 9 times out of 10. When my forwards are through one on one I just expect them to miss now Also there are too many wild shots. This part of the sim desperately needs fixed.

I've just lost a game against a similar team. All the match statistics were very similar, the only differences were that my team had 60% of possession and that the other team scored 5 goals against 2 of my team. The other difference is that my strikers have more value than those of the other team, but mine missed most of their opportunities and played in a dumb way.
Last season, when in 3rd div, my team was the 8th in ranking of the league, and that league was the best 3rd div in Chile (according to mzstats). In spite that my team was one of the smaller teams in the league and withouth hiring new players, it managed to finish the league in 2nd place and won promotion to 2nd div. So I think I am not a bad manager.
Later, when leagues were rearranged, my team, just promoted to 2nd div, had the "honour" of being selected to play in the best 2nd div, that meant that this season was going to be very hard.
Then it came that news by Patrick that the new SIM was going to be used in the regular season. And that made the things impossible to manage. I am sure that there are lots of other managers in the same situation than me, being witnesses of how our teams play dumber game after game, and losing game after game. I've tried different tactical moves without result, there always be a player of my team that made that dumb pass to a contrary that ends in a goal. My team being one of the little ones in the league manages to have the control of the ball but loses every match.
I have been playing in MZ for more than two years. I hope that by the end of the 1st round of this season we can, at least, be aware that there are some "fairness" from part of the SIM to the skills of our players and teams. If that doesn't happen I will enter in a period of reflection about if the time I spend each day in MZ is worth the effort.

:) omarchistie i know how you feel.
It is counter intuitive but you may move the striker back or to a side
and avoid the bug

The shooting does not reflect player attributes at all.
