U18 - National Cup England - Season 38

No threads on this one yet. Group stages are finishing up this next week, how is everyone else getting on?

My first go at U18's this season and i've qualified from my group already 7 for 7, so i'm quite chuffed! (I'm allowed, i'm new enough to still get excited at such things).

Its one of them cups that anyone can win which i like ... Im top of my group and have cruised it really. Although most of my youths are in their last season, so its expected.

As bizare as this sounds, I plan to compete in all major U18 comps every 3 seasons. This game is about winning cups etc... So im gunna get rid of my remaining youths next year, then start a fresh. 16 new youths, and realistically, I want to pick the best 8, and have them in youth TC every season.

This is why i actually dont agree with this "rolling 9" youth system. Its a good idea for what it is, but then your missing out on alot. My method just means getting a load of good players every 3 seasons. As opposed to 3 players per season.

I use the 6-5-5 but I train my players to be balanced for use rather than for the transfer market. I may not win any cups very easily but they'll be pretty competitive every season.
