Bonus unavoidable!

There are still managers, myself included, who can slide into bankruptcy without the bonus. Older players no longer have any value on the transfer market. And that's why they're not always sold. You're then stuck with the salaries. And because you don't earn that in the cups either, you're quickly in the red. If salaries were reduced somewhat, many managers would not go bankrupt. And maybe you wouldn't have to wait for the bonus. What do you think about this topic would interest me?

The salaries aren’t the problem in my opinion. If anything they stop hyper inflation on some big transfers (I’ll pull out of a transfer because of the wages before I consider the fee too high for top players).

It’s more the no sell on value of a player who declares early retirement that kills the market. For me it would be better if no retirements were announced before 32 so you knew where you stood/ what you were buying into. I also think you should still be able to sell a player who you extend their retirement - if they’d command a fee, you should be able to sell them.

You said it, but these older players are very difficult to sell. When you sell them, you offer as little as possible anyway. That's why it's better if they retire. That's why a pay cut would be much better in my eyes. 0.5 to 2% would be desirable for all of us. Or a small severance payment when they retire. Especially as we have also bought such players for millions...

I mean it makes sense if you’re deteriorating your salary reflects that.

Does it definitely not re-adjust at the start of the next season? Genuinely never checked.
