These two features would help anybody who opens a thread to talk to other people who share same ideas and/or concerns.
At the same time, the person who opens a thread on Forum is in fact the thread owner, so he should be able to block anybody he likes, not to be disturbed by offending persons who he/she doesn't want to talk to.
Also, we all should be able to edit our posts. YouTube already has this feature. It is just common sense.
Thank you.

Re: Block button and edit for the thread owners

A thread owner should have the privilege of saying
"When you post, please don't be an idiot and don't act like an idiot. Otherwise, thank you for not posting in my thread."

I am totally agree about that. I add also that who is blocked on private chat, should be blocked as well from posting on guestbook of the one that blocked him. Since no one takes action to penalize certain individuals, being able to block them on the guestbook would permanently solve the problems.
About edit, i say that posts should be edited by the creator itself without post again for fix previous errors.

Take a look also to my two propostal. I have to say that is strange that "managers's suggestions" are...ignored 🤔. Would be good receive some...more feedbacks about them.

I don't know if they are ignored. I hope not.
The idea is that we have the liberty of proposing. We can at least talk about it and offer feedback.
If the feedback is great, I suppose we can see them in the game.
No-one should expect to see the suggestions within a year or so.

The edit suggestion is straightforward, useful and would 100% make sense.
The other one though… it makes no sense for me. The forum is a public space. Anyone should be able to post in any thread.

Alright. I thought of the weirdest situation ever.
Let's say you don't want an xA to post in your thread. This would be the strangest thing, right?
Let's say he's an FA or MA. He can still monitor and edit. Like... What's the problem?
I'm not saying I've heard of such a strange situation. But, the human mind is a strange thing.
On the other hand, though, what if you want to block an user who is offending people and he for a fact offended you in the past. Sounds familiar? I'm 100% sure it does.
We can't actually talk about users offending us on Forum. It's become a tabu thing in MZ, which is absolutely ridiculous. Decent people are often offended on the Forum by the same persons, who know that there are no tools to block them. So, instead of giving decent people the tools to block them, we unconsciously encouraged offensive behaviour on the MZ Forum. This is why now, after 20 years of MZ, many decent people actually stay away from the Forum.
IMHO something must be done. And this IMO is the only way. Let decent people talk to other decent people without the fear of being offended on the Forum.

I want the general ability to turn off the use of the guestbook, really.
