Hi All,

Can someone confirm for me, the X sub... Is this a sub that will automatically come on for an injured player?

The first bench position contains your reserve goalkeeper; the second contains reserves for defensive players, while the third and fourth contains reserves for midfielders and strikers. The fifth position substitute will enter the game if a reserve is needed for a position where the primary reserve has already been used.

If a fifth substitute is not on the bench – or if the fifth sub has already entered play – another substitute will be brought on from your roster.

From manual. In short he is the average joe of your bench if the primary substitute has already been used from that example your second striker gets injured and your primary striker sub is already on the field, X enters the field to replace second injury. He should be able tho play every position because he might be needed to enter defense in some games ect. Buuuut in reality 2 injury per game is kind of rare but if you make substitutions of your own he will enter as the first sub. Example you make subtitution at 50 minutes into striker position and you one of your strikers get injured after hand player X will enter the field.
