Change languageAre there any 'cheats' available in this game, I don't mean conventional cheating I mean if I pay money for additional tokens for example can they be converted to currency to buy better players, speed up stadium builds, etc? Anything like this which I see on games like Top11?

Luckily no. You can pay tokens for the club membership and access to more cups/leagues which will grant some more income, but not gamebreaking. You also get extra spots on tc and an additional junior exchange for doing the tour, and they require tokens. And the chip events of course. No hard shortcuts, but more oppertunites if you are willing to put in the extra effort.

It’s important not to overbuild in the early seasons to maintain optimum expenditure/ match day revenue efficiency. Eg. Don’t build more seats and facilities than you have fans.

I play for free; paying users can give you verified information; but, from my knowledges, you pay real money, buy tokens, than play in payed competitions and earn some small amount of money from spectators.
Go to club - finances and at the bottom you see how many types of matches are and where is the limit of that types of matches.
Paid matches generating income: Word League, U18 World League, U18 League, U21 League, U23 League, Official Cups ; all of this are unlimited, so, every gamed played in this cups generate income.
There are competitions where the number of matches generating income is limited to 5, so, only the first 5 games in a week on this type of competition generate income: Friendly/Prized Cup group play home matches, Friendly/Prized Cup play off home matches, Friendly League home matches, Scout matches at home, Special matches at home.
Also, there was some "help" in transfers; you pay tokens and buy a "special" package and you receive assistant money for transfers (I think it was 350 k euro); but, when they introduce it, they used to say that it can be used only once.
It is true, that the money from this competitions are much less than the ones from official league; a player with a weak team, can easily earn 1M per season; players with good players and good tactics, well... much more millions.
Without real money, only League games and 2 friendlies every week generate team money. Also, there is sponsor money; and every season some bonuses for active users (who play friendly games or payed competitions games during a specific window).
Also, check a stadium guide to see how to build your stadium correctly; not to many seats or facilities.. only a small amount generate income; also, the number of spectators depend on your division (around x spectators on div 3, y spectators on div 2 etc).

When it boils down to it Chris. For ultimate success its a massive pay to win game. Probably worst out there I've seen.
It depends what value you hold to things. It's the price of a cup of coffee every couple of weeks.
Helps the game tick along for something you like to do.
That being said there is next to no improvements in this game. They also don't comment on suggestions thread or have any focus on it. There updates stopped years ago really.
Roman sums it up nicely above.
To get success in most or the cups you'd need to he pretty awesome so prize money from those is real life years away.
Helpful tip. Just play wings. It'll save you heartache down the line.
