Players' experience?

Badge image
In the Manual, it is said: "Experience is also affected by the number of games a player takes part in as well as his age."

Do all types of matches affect experience, or just official league matches and friendlies?

I believe all matches besides friendly leagues have affect on experience. What affect I’m not quite sure but league matches definitely have the largest affect

I'd be interested to work this out.

My youth players seem to gain around half a level each season at current rate. So promote at around 1.5 roughly.

My 23yos are around 3-5.

So a very rough estimate I'd say without league games in the mix. Because as Chucky says. League games will give the maximum benefit.

Players are gaining half a level every season without league games.

If players receive exp for world leagues or any league you pay for then everyone might aswell quit the game because that us a monumental advantage imo.

Please note: My non first team players play all the official cups each season.

Does anyone know what a full season of league and official cup games offers in exp gains?

Most 18yo players have 2 balls on experience from playing youth league alone plus a couple of friendly matches across the seasons. I've seen some with 3 balls on experience, especially at the end of each season, but that only happens if you abuse friendlies at some point. If you don't care about U18 competitions and don't mind risking your youths form, you can overplay friendly matches to earn additional experience (0,5 ball, rough estimate).

Personally my u23 squad go into friendlies for the exp.

Maybe when I have a perpetual motion of players I could do this for extra exp.

I think this is one of those things that takes longer for ne2er players to implement alongside everything else.

I've only just got my average starting 11 to nearly 7 average PI. Trying to get that to 8 or 9 alongside other skills will take a long while.

When I've spoken about bridging rhe gap in the game. This is another reason why it's so tough. Older players maybe don't appreciate how difficult it is to do on all fronts.

2 years in the making for me. However truthfully I wasn't taking much serious for the first 7 or 8 months tbh.

But main gain it seems could he youth league. Another reason why the game is pay to win. :-(

This is the table that I follow when I calculate how much should player have experience:

Age Experience
16 0
17 1
18 2
19 3
20 4
21 5
22 6
23 7
24 8
25 9
26 10

It is just to help me out. It may not fully be acurate - slow trainers tend to need more training, meaning more training camps, meaning less games, meaning less experience, so decision has to be made if it is point to keep the player at all. Effort, money, time, maxings etc. It works contrary when player is fast trainer/early maxer and gets more games.

When I buy players, then I follow the same table - If 25 year old does not have at least 9 experience I usually dont buy that player! Once I wanted to buy a defender who was 25 but then I noticed he had 7 balls in experience - and his price was around 7 mln euros. I was thinking like..what in the name of hell are people doing..

I know it may be a bit off the topic, but once I read from the speech of art, that the question is not important, important is what you want say or something like that if I try to translate it to english! Sorry! :P

Thanks Evosa. Seems like a good model to go with my skill balls below

Start of season
19 = 35min
20 = 41min
21 = 47min
22 = 52min
23 = 57min
24 = 61min
25 = 65min
26 = 68min
27 = 70+

I mean thats what I'm attempting to do. As you mention however some players train slower.

The problem you have with exp is you can't put all your players on the bench to gain relevant exp. So some of the levels above could he unachievable? I'm also guessing you have maybe 100million+

I know a lot of managers who won't use players who don't have high experience even at Uxx level. I had an awesome U21 level player who the national coach at the time from Argentina would play they because he only had 4 expereince. Experience should be looked at like PI in a way. More like a skill that amplifies other skills

19 35
20 41
... And so on

This applies to seniors as well?

Re: Players' experience?

My youth players only have 1.5 without young leagues.

So the game is even more a pay to win.

It's really sad. Exp it key and you gain that by paying to enter world leagues.

Players should get 0 gain in exp for cups or leagues you pay for.

I'd say so

Since you don't play youth leagues, can't you just spam friendlies and relentlessly field the youth players?

IT IS A CAP ON how much exp you can gain from friendlies and league games, ( 4 friendlies and one league game per week)

Thought I had read this somewhere. The one league game...both senior and Uxx count, no? And is there a cap on cup/friendly leagues? Or can I spam them for max exp?
