Japanese league!

Badge image
Should exist!
There are countries with less population and that matter less in the world of football than Japan and still have a league in this game.
If the site was translated in chinese, can be in japanese also i believe.
By the way, South Korea exist without its own language version of the site.
Also its a business opportunity for the developers because japanese people have potential for spending money in the game

I think because there might be very little or close to non-existent Japanese in MZ, thus Crew decided to put them (if any) under MZ Country. After all, what's the point creating a J-League but majority of the managers are bot or using VPN to change their nationality. Same goes to South Korea, many managers using VPN as well to play in that league.

You first have to create it and advertise the game to see how many join. Going to MZ country doesnt make japanese people play it. Also there are countries with very few playing that do have a league. Plus, id say Japan has best potential among the ones that dont have a league AND the ones that do have a league with few people from their countries.

You don’t say this because your username is j-league, right? 😅
You need to come out with some supporting facts like statistics etc that shows “Japan do has best potential”, but of course, you don’t have it right. So, it’s better don’t make any nasty assumptions.

Actually im saying it because:
1. high population country
2. kind of a virtual/gaming country
3. football is quite popular compared to some other like..Malaysia. baseball is losing popularity recently.

these are my opinion. i dont have to come with statistics.
nothing what i said was nasty so, Miss (GA) you are being rude. lets not attack each other here and keep the community friendly.

Maybe countries like Trinidad & Tobago, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh , etc, matter more in the world of football and have more culture of football ☺😄

Firstly, why on earth you link baseball with Malaysia? It’s not even a popular sport in here unlike in India. Do some research.

Secondly, I’m not being rude to you but I’m saying that you need to come out with facts that shows Japanese really like football, a virtual one like MZ. You can’t just assume it based on your username.

If these countries matters more in the world of football, why is that even a concern for you, Mr J-League? Now i see where the problem is. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I meant to link it to Japan because still popular there. For your knowledge, its cricket thats popular in India (looks similar to baseball).

No one who post a suggestion has to prove or convince anything, you just agree or not/research it or not.

You know there are many countries that can be questioned if they REALLY like it, so this is a wrong way to look at the situation and i dont think countries like India, Pakistan or some others REALLY like it. Based on your logic, quite a few dont deserve to have a league here.

Also, probably you are not familiar with the world football stage but Japan is a much bigger name than these countries i named and actually participate in World Cups, having players in Europe. By the way, the big clubs in Europe sometimes were going on tour in Japan and China for friendly matches because of the fan base they have there that you probably arent aware of.

I stop here because you know very little about what you were talking so far.
in fact you dont have to believe anything i stated, its this simple.
Have fun in MZ!

I'm well aware that baseball and cricket are two different sports. For your knowledge as well, baseball also is quite popular in India, they even put it in their school syllabus.

You don't have to prove it if you don't want it or incapable to do it. But, "demoting" other country by saying they don't deserved their league just because that they don't join WC etc, other popular teams don't make a road tour in their country and others is blatantly wrong and insulting. That was my point the whole time that you failed to see and understand.

Can't argue with that...

Re: Japanese league!

interesting, in the brazilian league alone there are almost 15 active japanese... which would give a japanese league and more than countries like kenya and south korea have today... that if there are not others in other countries..

https://www.managerzone.com/?p=team&tid=284748

look at his "Word from the Owner". Quite some Visitors..

Re: Japanese league!

Badge image
I also agree, but then they should do the same for the african countries with some active teams from the MZleague
Knowing that there is 54 countries in the African continent and we are only 9 represented in the game

Re: Japanese league!

Badge image
should then expand and make a vote for which countries should be added, for this to go ahead it needs 20 users agreeing

Re: Japanese league!

Badge image
Also It will be unfair to not mention Qatar which is also not represented in MZ

The reason why there is no J-League is an unresolved mystery, certainly you can just rebrand one innactive league as there has to be leagues with zero real users, one that comes to mind is Trinidad Tobago as I don't think there's any real managers there but if it's not that one I'm sure there is at least ONE league with no real people in it.

For the suggestion to be sent to CREW it needs 20 users giving ok, I put it on the Brazilian forum too and Mushiba approved it and would help to spread it in japan

Hello
I don't know the rules for creating a game, but this game should look different. In my opinion, many games have this well solved. It is definitely better to play with active players than with boots. For example, there may be an African or East Asian league. It is best, however, if the interested parties themselves comment on this. If there are several players in Japan who can create their own league, then let them exist. I also think that the most important thing is how many people want to play in this league, and not how popular a sport discipline is. I'm sorry to interfere with the organization. But I watch with horror as there are leagues with one or two active teams. I used to talk to players I know and no one would want to participate in such a league.

Kind regards, Tom

There is MZ Country for that.
This was the whole purpose. But...

If we have a Champiosnhip like for e.g.
CONCACAF - maybe players from Trinidad or Panama would like to play in a full championship.
Maghreb or North Africa - with countries like Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria etc.
South Africa & Central Africa
Audtralia & Oceania with New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands etc.
Eastern Asia - Japan, Korea etc.
This way users may feel more related to their own championship.

I have to disagree just a bit. Just by having their own league would make many users play there. Plus, Japan has more active users than some countries that already have a league here, so why Japan doesnt deserve to have. Having this in mind i wonder how the crew is deciding which to have and which not.

Re: Japanese league!

It's upto them to ask for it.
In the end, is it so important to win a bot Championship or compete in a real Championship?

Its fair to have them ask for it if others such as Trinidad Tobago and Panama asked for it. They have it for the bots. The question remains, how those deserve more to have a league.

Re: Japanese league!

Good...if it's here in Japan I'll help to publicize it and as much as possible.Today the most popular sport in Japan is soccer.Very interesting market!!!My son is 15 years old and plays soccer in a Japanese second division team (thespa kusatsu gunnma) to disclose would not be a problem.

I think that these are like that since the beginning of the game when there were a lot of managers, like Tunisia for example.

How those deserve ? So either you have a league like them or remove them all to be equal ?

Or.. (as crew members) you look for possibly good markets where to create a new league. As @darkline said, i think "no j-league" is an unsolved mystery. But i'll let others say their thoughts.

Re: Japanese league!

I think it's a matter of how you see it.
Why not a J-League? I see no issue.

There is always the MZ Country if you choose not to.

Brother, its not about "issue". I wonder tho how crew left Japan out while we have these:

90 102555 Trinidad & Tobago
91 102256 Arabia Saudita
92 100892 Kenia
93 100675 Pakistan
94 100230 Banglades
95 97944 Liban
96 84020 Kirghizstan
97 82782 Andorra
98 79997 Kuweit
99 58314 Liechtenstein
100 47902 Insulele Feroe

i wont explain further that Japan would be more competitive, most likely ,if existed

Re: Japanese league!

So i was talking with crew back in 2012 and they said " oh we are having trouble with translating the site in japanese ".
Meanwhile its translated in chinese and South Korea has a league without a korean version of the site. Really ?? What a wise mind would make a game and think Japan doesnt have to be in first 100 countries.
I think they dont want it because its something personal for the crew about Japan

It's something about the Japanese laws. It's forbidden to play for money or something like that, as I recall.
Because MZ is not considered a free game. It's under the same licenses as poker or casino sites.
Please, somebody correct me if I said something wrong or offer better input.
Thank you.

I just realized that there are exactly 100 countries in Managerzone. Maybe 100 is the limit and that's the reason no new leagues can be added? And maybe replacing is not so trivial.
