Walkover in Cup matches

Hi everyone, I played the two Under 20 and Under 23 cup matches but they canceled them. I think it's because I had a 24-year-old player on the bench left there to take shape in friendlies. That would be the case. Due to fielding an overage player your lineup was invalid and a walkover was the result. This dynamic is disgusting imo. I really really detest this. Especially with so many games and leagues to concentrate on. Whoever passed this walkover rule needs their head checked. I’m not sure why you don’t like it so much? Players who aren’t eligible to play in a particular competition need to be prevented. The game isn’t smart enough to remove that player and replace them with an eligible player so it needs a measure in place. It forced mangers to focus on their teams and manage their Uxx squads. Also really encouraged teams to participate in the youth tour to allow more tactic slots that definitely come in handy
