Have a loook at the transfer market. You can find great players for small sums which should enable you to become a solid feature in div 1

Hi
I think there's a short, medium and long term process that you need to follow, and ensure that you don't stick too long on the short term. Let me explain:
Short term
-you analyse your team
-create a tactic that works for you
-buy cheap players that are older, and bring some good quality to your team (i prefer them with as midfielders because they tend to have a lot of experience and play intelligence, and they tend to deteriorate in speed and stamina- which is vital for strikers and defenders).
-start raising youngsters early, and find a system that suits you.
-try and raise money by winning lower leagues/ from tickets, and don't spend much on transfers.
-This should take you up to league 2 maximum (in my opinion), as you will never get players good enough for 1st league with wages lower enough to afford paying them.
Medium term
This is where you start producing better youngsters, and you try and maximize them, in order to sell for profits (this is where I'm trying to get myself right now).
-ideally you want to use those youngsters for a season or two, in order to gain them experience and to send them to training camps until around the age of 22,23.
-Around 22 or 23 you should try and sell them, in order to build a strong bank, and ideally replace them with other youngsters, or older players that you found cheap on transfer market.
-try and aim to raise few millions out of it.
-This should fluctuate your league status quite a bit, and you tend to see good teams falling from league 1 or 2, to league 3, before coming back up.
Long term
If you have perfected a tactic of creating great players in bunches, then you are on the long term!
-Here, you will aim to have a good number of great players created by yourself + buying 2 or 3 more expensively from the transfer market
-now, instead of selling at the age of 22 or 23, you will keep them until around the age of 27.
- with that team, you aim for the first league, and for the title if you can, for the next 4,5 seasons.
-during that cycle, you also work on preparing the second bunch of players, (although in my mind simulation, you might have a difficulty creating good players given that you can't really give them chances in the main team)
-therefore you need to spend money to get them to U19 and U21 leagues- which is the dark side of this game! Pay to win basically.
Hope is helpful in any way.

Very basics:
- Maintain form
- Invest in youth
- Sell/discard any âdead weightâ (players with bad maxings or arenât long term prospects)
- develop your stadium to allow you to make more money
- Keep your wages down
- Clone a few tactics of teams having some success that will also work for your team too
Managerzone is a marathon not a sprint though and to be successful requires elements of planning and dedication
