What’s up with the FA’s in the English forum?

I am not too often in the English forums. I do come by sometimes to see if there are any interesting threads. I recently read parts of MZ-the Downfall and also MZ-the Upfall. [color=blue]/.../[/color] What’s up with the long lecturing tirade? [i][color=blue]/Edit Noild : Text deleted, breaking rule 2.5. Had your question been 'What’s up with the English forum?' in relation to how quiet it is around here you would have answered with your post. For the first time in years (no exaggeration) there is a thread worth reading and pay-rolled managers strive to shut it down. A familiar pattern. I tend not to bother much any more after being shut down and edited without good reason on a number of occasions. It's pathetic. It's also clear that I am not the only one not to bother. THOUSANDS of other don't anymore. Talk about Downfall...Had your question been 'What’s up with the English forum?' in relation to how quiet it is around here you would have answered with your post.

Assistants of the game and crew are only going to let the game be critisised and slandered unconstructively, for so long before the thread needed to be closed. The original post ran it’s race and a lot of good healthy discussions came from it, on the other hand the unhealthy came with it too. I’m unaware of any personal attacks though or tirades. There was far too many comments to read them all or follow individual conversations between two people amongst it all.Assistants of the game and crew are only going to let the game be critisised and slandered unconstructively, for so long before the thread needed to be closed. Are you implying it’s my job to read all the comments on the forum? I think you have your assistants mixed up. Currently I’m an “RA” which is someone who writes for their countries Zone magazine, not an FA. At the time of the thread I was also neither. Maybe check that next time before you imply I’m not doing my job. You’re welcome to go read the latest edition of the Aussie Zone and see my job.

The original thread was closed by crew after it became a platform to attack crew and the game creators with no intentions other than slandering them. You are a pay-rolled manager defending the actions of fellow pay-rolled managers without, by your own admission, having not read the thread in question. Don't lecture me on the assistant structure. Dial down the attitude, eh? It's hardly promoting the nice, friendly, helpful, and patient values of the forum.

I followed the first 400+ comment thread and couldn’t directly quote every post and no, without reviewing. I’ve made my point above already. I believe it’s you who has the attitude problem and looking to piggy backing on another potential negative crew and assistant bashing thread. In short, no, his actions were perfectly reasonable. The reason for closing the thread was stated and when you start calling the crew derogatory names (like Hanzo did) assistants are well within their right to close the thread without write of reply. I can understand where you’re coming from but I think there was more forth and back comments from both sides in disagreement and banter in the earlier thread too. The FA in this instance happened to just make the last comment and then took the necessary action of closing the thread.
