$1,000,000 Player

What position would you fill first with a $1,000,000 player? (This is transfer fee, not player value). Forward? midfield? defense? goalkeeper?What position would you fill first with a $1,000,000 player?

My 2 cents: Assuming you do have already 11 players to place on the field, it is then a Matter of replacement. As such I would go for the weakest player to replace. Or the oldest if old team. Or the one that will face soon market depreciation and sell him before. Now said: your million is maybe better in your bank. As 1 player over 11 will not make a huge difference and as you won’t find super star at this cost.My 2 cents:

Depends on how good other players in your team are. But, to give a general answer, Keeper would be the most suitable position to spend on. The SIM seems to sometimes favor keepers even when they're not good enough...with a good enough keeper, you'll cause much more upsets than you would with a good striker/midfielder/defender. And that's mainly bcoz keeper is the only 'independent' position, wherein the performance of only that particular individual counts. If you have just one awesome striker while the others are trash, your awesome striker won't make a lot of difference. He needs good passers, and a good supporting role (by other players) to do well. The only 'relation' a keeper has to other players, is that their effectiveness decides how many shots the keeper will have to face/stop. The better your players, the lesser your keeper will be troubled. That's the only way a keeper's related to how other players perform. And, that can be negated (more or less) by having an extremely good keeper.Depends on how good other players in your team are. I'd invest into talent that 1 million. Some of the reasons why: *Cheap players could turn very good *Older players market value drops drastically as they reach closer to deterioration *Cheap players who fail to become good players than the loss in market dosn't make you cry! This guy I bought for 103 € [fpl=206613835] and this guy for 5 € [fpl=204086874] Point - if they max in some skill early than loss is minimal!I'd invest into talent that 1 million. Salary loss would be the first reason to fire them both. Disloyal is on to something though. Do you a favour, I would buy them both for 216 EUR. It's doubling your investment and you can thank me later.
