Hi,
so you have a player with 8 stamina and 8 speed , then they drop down to 7 , so this is a big deal, and they need to be sold , right or wrong ?
just exactly how much of a big deal is deterioration ,
and also why are the game developers never around to answer questions like this..

for me, allthough not top level playing, not that you are either lol, first season is no biggie at all. And there was a romanian guy here on the forums, that is certain because the oldies have better skills and better experience even after 2nd season, they are still worth it and apparently he won so much with oldies that he now swears by it. Idraco or something he answers too.

if I ever find myself in the same boat as you, I will ask the skipper to row us to Switzerland, and I will seek voluntary end of life .

Do us a favour heddo, and stop drinking. You drive to Swiss you dont row to there. Ill held your hand till the end and tell you stories about the sim. Hopefully I can talk you out of it after a few drinks and a slap.

ok bud, I will take on board everything you have typed, the transfer market seems to show a difference in views , some managers holding on to players in their thirties , and also other managers purchasing thirty year olds , not all with 8 plus in stamina.

I would say that since it takes about 3 seasons for players to completely lose the first deterioration ball and move into the second one that the amount of decline in performance is pretty low over the first two seasons. As started above, the benefits of experience and the rest of a players skills still make the older players worth holding onto. Visually in the first season it looks like a lost ball, but realistically they are still much closer to the top of that ball than the bottom.
