Form with 4 teams

Hi, i was wondering how is it possible to keep the form if you have 4 teams: U18, U21 and U23 and Senior, like a lot of teams have. If we can only play 10 friendlies every week, we still need 6 friendlies more in order to keep the form, dont we? not necessarily. you must be aware that apart from the Friendlies and League matches,other Cup etc matches too contribute (and only positively so) towards form. so, even if you miss out on some friendlies for any age group, and if that age group is participating in other tournaments/cups etc, then their form will still remain good by virtue of them playing in these various other competitions. and this is in fact a great thing, since these other competitions influence form only positively :) check this out for more info (see the first table) - https://www.managerzone.com/?p=manual_faq&cat_id=1361

I ran some calculations quick calculations 4 games are enough to form remain in 9 with cup competitions ect. ( Not sure if 3 games are enough ) Seniors 16 2 league 2 friendlies + positive games U23 16 4 friendlies + positive games U18 16 4 friendlies + positive games Camps 13 = 61 players at form 9 If 3 games are enough Seniors 16 2 league 1 friendly + positive games U23 16 3 friendlies + positive games U21 16 3 friendlies + positive games U18 16 3 friendlies + positive games Camps 13 = 77 players at form 9 I am using seperate tactics at friendlies Form 1,2,3,4 as many you need em atm i have only 2 tho cos i dont have enough players in my team yet. I am using seperate tactics at friendlies Form 1,2,3,4 as many you need em atm i have only 2 tho cos i dont have enough players in my team yet.

But dont only do this cos you want the form you should be considering the experience you gain by grinding friendlies.

Why do you have 61 players is my first question? Surely that’s a ridiculous wage bill and not needed if you’re just starting the game. I have 20 seniors and 20 youths. At least 10 are always in camp. 40 players - 10 in camp = 30 players 15 A-Team 15 B-Team (mix of Under 18’s, 21’s and 23’s) I only play 8 friendlies per week, never more. A team plays four friendlies B team plays four friendlies - with this I’ve maintained over 9.2 form average for seasons now.Why do you have 61 players is my first question?

15 A-Team
15 B-Team (mix of Under 18’s, 21’s and 23’s)
I only play 8 friendlies per week, never more.
A team plays four friendlies
B team plays four friendlies

- with this I’ve maintained over 9.2 form average for seasons now.

I’ve just looked at your page and you’re not just starting out so apologies there. If you’re looking to be really competitive at all levels (U18-Seniors) it’s incredibly difficult and expensive. Without a bank roll too. You can really only be competitive in U18 and Seniors with a sprinkle of success in the other two formats without your finances through the roof each week. Most top Uxx teams forgo their Senior team and only play U18, U21 and U23 hence being able to afford it better, (there U23 team doubles as their senior team) I hope any of that helps :)I’ve just looked at your page and you’re not just starting out so apologies there.
