gardners world

Hi there , the daffs and the tulips are gone , but the buttercups and bluebells are here , I am already one lawn cut ahead for the year, after having to make a cut in march for the first time ever I think , the dry weather has made it difficult for planting , but I have made full use of the high fence I had installed last year , it is perfect for tossing bananas into the neighbours gardens, and then running back indoors , up to now , I have had no reply or complaint , so can only assume that they are catching same, and running indoors gleefully , it sounds about right , happy planting..

Only have a chain link fence so no anonymous banana tossing for me. ;(

It's been a wet spring here recently. Had to pump the backyard dry twice so far. Minor new plantings. Blackberries are blooming, now it's a race to get the fruit before the birds, daughter, and squirrels as they ripen.

Poppies are starting to bloom, too bad they are so short lasting as they are so great to see. Most Horse Chestnuts are in flower as well.

there is an English dude around here, garlic eaters, he plants garlic and eats it, thus the name garlic eaters.

You can find it here somewhere, by the smell.
