1. Scouting
What if we hired scouts just as we hired coaches. With them being able to scout teams players and give you a rough estimate or more precise estimate of the players skills (balls) based on there class. Just like the option in football manager where paid scouts can be sent to ascertain a players skill. IMO the whole masking of a players skills takes away from the game and is not reflective of modern football.
The higher class the scout eg A. B or C the more accurate they would be in providing what they think the player's skills are.
2. Sales
After finding out a players skill set or balls based on how accurate ur scout would be, What if you could then send a bid to that team for the player. If he accepts the bid, the player is then transfer listed on the market for that amount being the asking price and the person who made the initial bid be listed as the current bid. The other interested managers could bid on that player as well. This would ensure that the sale is transparent and still give others a chance to bid on the player.
Just my opinion in how i think we can spice up the game.
