indian super league

isl is getting really popular in india it seems that it will overtake cricket in next 10 years .I do think that isl will overtake mls soon...what do you guys thinkisl is getting really popular in india it seems that it will overtake cricket in next 10 years .I do think that isl will overtake mls soon...what do you guys think

Think you'll find you posted in the wrong forum - this one is about Managerzone issues. Given the corruption in IPL there's little to expect ISL to be run any better. MLS is miles ahead of ISL at this point in time and will continue to be so for many years. The talent simply isn't present in ISL to convince Indian fans to support their local sides over their much beloved (lol) Chelsea, Man Yoo et al. I mean, people probably cream themselves over Anelka... that's Anelka aged 39. 3-9. As in, an OAP in football terms. he local talent isn't good enough - India fallen to 156th in the world when the average position they've had is 133rd. India could get to the level MLS is now within a few decades possibly. when i posted the above comment i was trying to explain that the dominant sport shall be Cricket and competition like ISL and if any other comes up will always play second fiddle to cricket in India for the next 2-3 decades. Simply because cricket in India has always got talented players against the world unlike other sports in India. My comparison with MLS was with other sports that are played in America (basketball,Baseball,American Football) Also request the modarters to kindly move this topic to open discussion as stated above by mrsheepie.
